AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWENTY -ONE AND
73/100 DOLLARS ($21.73) PAYABLE TO MR. JOHN W. COWEN
AS FULL COMPROMISE AND SETTLEMENT FOR DAMAGES TO HIS
AUTOMOBILE ARISING OUT OF A COLLISION WITH A VEHICLE
OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ON THE 5TH DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1958; DIRECTING THE 'CITY MANAGER AND DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANT FOR THE
SAID APPROPRIATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twenty-
One and 73/100 Dollars ($21.73) payable to Mr. John W. Cowen
as full compromise and settlement for damages to his automobile
arising outcf a collision with a vehicle owned by the City of
Little Rock on the 5th day of September, 1958.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
for the payment of moneys appropriated in Section 1 hereinabove.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
