AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($500.00) PAYABLE TO THE AMERICAN MUNICIPAL
ASSOCIATION AND THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS
($250.00) PAYABLE TO THE UNITED STATES CONFERENCE OF
MAYORS FOR MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK IN SAID ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE YEAR 1959; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is desirous of having its
membership reinstated with both the United States Conference
Of Mayors and the American Municipal Association effective
immediately, and,
WHEREAS, the annual membership and service fee for the
United States Conference Of Mayors is Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($250.00) annually and for the American Municipal Association
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) annually,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated payable to the
American Municipal Association the sum of Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00) representing an annual membership and service fee
for the City of Little Rock in said Association for the year
1959.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated payable to the
United States Conference Of Mayors the sum of Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($250.00) representing an annual membership and service
fee for the City of Little Rock in said Conference for the year
1959.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants
in payment of the moneys appropriated in Sections 1 and 2 above.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be

in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
