RESOLUTION NO. 11,842
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 AMEND THE SWAGGERTY CREEK PARK DESIGN CONSULTANT
5 CONTRACT WITH JACKSON PERSON & ASSOCIATES IN THE
6 AMOUNT OF $15,000.00 FOR ADDITIONAL SURVEY WORK; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, the Parks Department applied for and was awarded a UPARR
10 Grant in the amount of $776,286, including local match, to design and build a new park
11 on the property known as Swaggerty Creek Park, and
12 WHEREAS, additional survey work in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars
13 ($15,000.00) is required, for a total contract amount of Sixty Thousand, One Hundred
14 Dollars ($60,100.00).
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the amendment of the
18 Swaggerty Creek Park Design Consultant Contract with Jackson Person & Association
19 by an additional Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), for a total contract amount of
20 Sixty Thousand, One Hundred Dollars ($60,100.00)
21 Section 2. Funding is available through a Federal UPARR Grant in account #700-
22 230 - X037 -8010.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
