ORDINANCE NO. 103,896
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN MEADOWCLIFF ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas
entered its order on November 25, 1958, upon the petition of
owners of the property affected after due notice of hearing on
said petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by law,
ordering the annexation of the following-described lands located
in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
"Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 380,
Meadowcliff Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, a point on the City Limits of Little
Rock, Arkansas; thence north 8.3 feet to a point;
thence westerly along the south lot lines of Lots
392 through 397 to the southwest corner of said
Lot 397; thence southerly along the east lines of
Lots 398 through 401 to the southeast corner of
said Lot 401; thence westerly along the south lines
of Lots 401 through 405 to the southwest corner of
said Lot 405; thence northerly along the west line
of Lots 405 through 412A to the northwest corner
of said Lot 412A; thence northeasterly along the
north lines of Lots 412A, 288, 287 , 236 and 285 to
the common corner of Lots 285, 276 and 275, a point
on the City Limits of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence
east - southeasterly along the north line of Lots 285
through 281 to the northeast corner of Lot 281;
thence east - northeasterly along the common line of
Lots 279 and 280 and said line extended to the east
right -of -way line of Sheraton Drive; thence southerly
along the east right -of -way line of Sheraton Drive
to the northwest corner of Lot 319; thence east -
northeasterly along the common line of Lots 318 and
319 to the common corner of Lots 318, 319 and 317; thence
southeasterly along the northeast lot lines of Lots
319, 320 and 321 to the common corner of Lots 321,
322, 314 and 315; thence southwesterly along the line
between Lots 321 and 322 and said line extended to the
west right -of -way line of Sheraton Drive; thence north-
westerly along the west right -of -way line of Sheraton
Drive to the north corner of Lot 346; thence south-
westerly along the line between Lots 326 and 346 to the
common_:corner of Lots 326, 346 and 345 thence southerly
along the line between Lots 345 and 346 to the southwest
corner of Lot 346; thence southerly to the northwest
corner of Lot 387; thence southerly along the line be-
tween Lots 387 and 388 to the southwest corner of Lot
387; thence westerly along the south lines of Lots 388
through 392 to the point of beginning."
All of said lands are located within Meadowcliff Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. A plat of said
addition is filed for record in the office of the Cir-
cuit Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, in Plat Book
No. 5, at page 72.

WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any
proceedings in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent said annexation, and no protestants have
appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside
or appeal from the said order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above - described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
acting through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incor-
porated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas all of the lands
described hereinabove in this Ordinance; and that said lands be and
are hereby assigned and attached to the Fourth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that when two copies
of the entire proceedings of the Pulaski County Court concerning
this annexation have been prepared and duly certified by the Pulaski
County Clerk, one copy of said proceedings shall be delivered to
the Little Rock City Clerk for filing and the other copy, together
with a certified copy of this Ordinance, shall be delivered to and
filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Arkansas, pursuant
to Arkansas Statutes (1947) Section 19 -305.
