ORDINANCE NO. 10,915
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 15 A (1), 15 B (2), 17 A (1),
17 B (9), 17 B (12) AND 56 B (3) OF ORDINANCE NO. 10,882,
SAME BEING:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND ADOPTING THE BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE TWELVE
(12) MONTH PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 12 19593 AND
ENDING DECEMBER 312 1959; APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR
EACH AND EVERY ITEM OF EXPENDITURE THEREIN PROVIDED
FOR; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES. ";
BY DECREASING THE SALARY OF THE PURCHASING ASSISTANT; BY
INCREASING THE NUMBER OF FIRE CAPTAINS AND DECREASING THE
NUMBER OF FIREFIGHTER - DRIVERS; BY CHANGING THE TITLE OF
THE SIGN PAINTER IN THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 15 A (1) of Ordinance No. 10,882, same
being: An ordinance providing for and adopting the budget for
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the twelve (12) month
period beginning January 1, 1959, and ending December 31, 1959;
appropriating money for each and every item of expenditure there-
in provided for; declaring an emergency to exist; and for other
purposes. ", is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 7. It has been determined that certain changes in the
Budget of the City of Little Rock should be made in order to provide
for the proper and efficient management of the Purchasing, Fire and
Traffic Departments of the City and this ordinance will correct
the said evil and provide therefor; now therefore an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the

preservation of public peace, health and safety shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval; and all
ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
