ORDINANCE NO. 141921
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY FROM THE
1953 BOND CONSTRUCTION FUNDS TO ASSIGNED PROJECTS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the proceeds from the 1958 Bond sale have been divided
into five (5) separate funds, namely: Right -Of -Way Fund, Street
Construction Fund, Fire Department Construction Fund, Park & Air-
port Construction Fund, and Public Buildings Construction Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to appropriate said
sums from the proceeds of said bonds to particular projects, all
pursuant to authority of the Ordinance authorizing the sale of the
said bonds and the Constitution and Laws of the State of Arkansas;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the 1958 Bond
Issue Construction Funds the following separate sums of money to
the particular project set opposite said sums as follows:

SECTION 2. The appropriations as provided for in Section 1 above
are made to cover any and all expenses in connection with the projects
identified including, but not limited to, labor, materials and services
such as may be from time to time authorized by the Board of Directors.
SECTION 3. The need for capital improvements within the City
of Little Rock creates a condition detrimental to the health, welfare
and safety of the citizens of said City and by being able to expend
the funds hereinabove appropriated at the earliest possible time such
condition can be appreciably relieved; now therefore, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the
preservation of public peace, health and safety shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval; and all ordinances
aid parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
