AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE PULASKI FEDERAL SAVINGS & LOAN
ASSOCIATION, ITS SUCCESSORS, HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT TO
EXCAVATE AND USE CERTAIN SPACE BENEATH THE SIDEWALKS AND ALLEY
ADJACENT TO LOT 7 AND THE SOUTH 10 FEET OF LOT 8, BLOCK 102,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Pulaski Federal Savings & Loan Association, its
successors, heirs and assigns, are hereby granted the right to excavate
and use certain space underneath the sidewalks and alley adjacent to Lot
7 and the South 10 feet of Lot 8, Block 102, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas for the purpose of projecting the footings for the exterior
column and wall -of a building to be erected upon said tract to the extent
hereinafter provided. Said footings on the alley side of said lots may
project two (2) feet beyond the property line into said alley at a depth
of fifteen (15) feet. Said footings may project four (4) feet into the
sidewalk area on the South property line of said tract at a depth of
fifteen (15) feet. Said footings may project two ( 2) feet into the side"
walk area on the East side of said tract at a depth of five (5) feet.
Provided, however, that the City of Little Rock reserves unto itself the
right to continue to use any of said area which is being utilized for the

Purpose of laying and maintaining utility pipes and conduits. The City of
Little Rock further retains the right to revoke this franchise at any time
and the owner of said land occupying such space shall be required to remove
the improvements from such area and shall.be required to pay all costs
attendant with the abandonment and removal of the improvements from said
area.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall. be in full.f orce and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
