AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
AND N01100 DOLLARS ($2,500.00) PAYABLE TO DON LEONARD AS COMPENSA-
TION FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN CONNECTION
WITH A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY AND REPORT OF THE ORGANIZATION AND REC-
COMMENDED REORGANIZATION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, WHICH SERVICES WERE IN ADDITION TO THOSE PREVIOUSLY
CONTRACTED FOR BY THE CITY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANT
THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREiiS, Don Leonard has rendered professional services to the City
of Little Rock in addition to those previously contracted for by the
City in connection with the making of a comprehensive study and
report of the organization of the Police Department of the City of
Little Rock and making certain recommendations for the reorganization
of the said Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to compensate Don Leonard for the said
additional services;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Two Thousand
Five Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($2,500.00) payable to Don Leonard
for the said additional professional services rendered by him to the
City of Little Rock in connection with making a comprehensive study
and report of the organization of the Police Department of the City
of Little Rock and making certain recommendations for the reorgani-
zation of the said Police Department.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment
of the money appropriated in Section 1 hereinabove.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby -repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
