AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO LOCATE AND MAINTAIN
PARKING METERS ON PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IMMEDIATELY
EAST OF THE ROBINSON MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED; ESTABLISHING A TWO HOUR PARKING METER ZONE ON THE SAID PRO-
PERTY; PROVIDING THE FEE FOR THE USE OF THE PARKING METERS IN THE SAID
ZONE; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
ORDINANCE; REPEALING ORDINANCES'IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. From and after the passage of this Ordinance, the Traffic
Engineer of the City of the City of Little Rock is hereby authorized to
locate, place and maintain, at his discretion, parking meters on any or
all of the property owned by the City of Little Rock located immediately
East of the Robinson Memorial Auditorium, more particularly described as:
NE'k, Block 100, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. There is hereby established a two hour parking meter zone
on the entire property described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. The parking meter zone established herein shall be subject
to the following conditions:
(1) All so- called "two (2) hour" zones heretofore designated and marked
are hereby designated as two (2) hour parking zones.
(2) No person shall park any vehicle in any two (2) hour parking zone
located in parking meter zones, as the same now exist or may hereafter
be established, for more than two (2) hours at any time between the hours
of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on Monday through Saturday except on Sundays and
Holidays and only upon the deposit of a one -cent coin of the United States
for each twelve (12) minutes or five (5) cents for one hour or ten (10)
cents for each two hours in a parking meter located alongside such zone.
SECTION 4. Any violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than
$500.00 or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both such
fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after its passage and approval.
