ORDINANCE NO. 10 083
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF NORTH CROSS STREET HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, LOCATED
IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little lock desires to vacate, close and
abandon a certain portion of Norte► Cross Street hereinafter described,
located in the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
deems the said portion of North Cross Street no longer needed for
municipal purposes;and
WHEREAS, the best interest of the citizenry of the City of
Little Rock will be served by vacating, closing, and abandoning; the
said portion of North Cross Street;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that a public hearin;; on
the closing of the portion of North Cross Street hereinafter described
has been had after proper publication of notice of the same, and that
no objection has been made to the vacating, closing and abandoning
of the said portion of the said street; and, it is further determined
that the said portion of the said street is not presently being used
as a public street and is no longer needed for any corporate purpose
and should be vacated, closed, and abandoned as a public street.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock heresy vacates, closes and
abandons for use as a public street that portion of North Cross Street
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows:
Bounded on East by Block 357, Original City of Little Rock;
on West by Missouri Pacific Railroad right -of -way; on the
South by La Harpe Boulevard right -of -way; on North by Missouri
Pacific Railroad right -of -way.
SECTION 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Record of said County.

SECTION 4. All ordi- Dances and pa=ts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full Force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
