AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS,
OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN E2 Sl SA OF
SECTION 26, AND N11� --, NE4 OF SECTION 35, ALL IN
TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS.
,THEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas
entered its order on August 26, 1959, upon the petition of the
sole owner of the property affected after due notice of hearing
on said petition for the time and in the manner prescribed by
law, ordering the annexation of the following described lands
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
"A tract of land in the E1 S1,Tz' -; SE! of Section 26 and in
the NlrTl NE-1 of Section 35, all in T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and more particularly described as:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the E� SW4 SE41
said Section 26; thence N 00 141 E along the .-Test line
of the E1 S1T1 SE!, said Section 26, a distance of
1,325.8 feet to the Northwest corner of the E2 SWu-, SEA.,
said Section 26; thence S 880 59' E along the North
line of the E SW SEu, said Section 26, a distance of
451.2 feet to a point 211.0 feet West of the Northeast
corner of the SW SE!, said Section 26; thence S 00 14'
W, 211.0 feet to a point; thence S 880 59' E, 211.0
feet to a point on the East line of the SI' 4 SE! 4.1 said
Section 26, which is 211.0 feet South of the Northeast
corner thereof; thence S 00 14' W along the East line
of the SW-1, SE1 of said Section 26 and along the East line
of the Ntr11 NE of said Section 35, a distance of 1,285.0
feet to a point; thence N 600 10' W, 190.0 feet to a point;
thence N 300 30' W, 83.9 feet to a point; thence S 810
50' 1 "1, 250.0 feet to a point; thence S 310 11' W, 43.7
feet to a point; thence S 810 50' 1 °;T, 70.0 feet to a point;
thence N 620 451 1J, 120.0 feet to a point; thence N 00
141 E, 37.5 feet to the point of beginning."
All of said lands are located within Pulaski County,
Arkansas. A plat of said addition is filed for
record in the office of the Circuit Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, in Plat Book No. 7, at page 6.
1.1HEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since
the entry of said order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and no. person, firm or corporation has instituted any
proceedings in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent said annexation, and no protestants have
appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas of any attempt to vacate, review, set

aside or appeal from the said order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above - described lands are contiguous to
and adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
acting through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the
annexation of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incor-
porated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas all of the lands
described hereinabove in this Ordinance; and that said lands be and
are hereby assigned and attached to the Fifth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that one copy of
the Order of Annexation of Pulaski County Court, dated August 26,
1959, together with a certified copy of this Ordinance shall be
delivered to and filed with the Secretary of State of the State
of Arkansas.
