HomeMy WebLinkAbout11048J" ORDINANCE NO. 11,048 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED; THE LITTLE ROCK ZONING ORDINANCE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the zone classifications of the following properties be and are hereby changed as indicated. Tract No. 1 State Capitol Rezoning Southwest corner of West 7th Street and Wolfe Street, being lots ten (10), eleven (11), and twelve (12), block ten (10), Fausts Addition. Southwest corner of West 7th Street and Marshall Street, being lots ten (10), eleven (11), and twelve (12), block eleven (11), Fausts Addition. Southwest corner of Bishop Street and West 7th Street, being lots ten (10), eleven (11), sand. twelve (12)0 block twelve (12), Fausts Addition. Southside of West 7th Street between High Street and Bishop Street, being lots one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), five (5), and six (6), block four hundred and thirteen (413), Compton's Subdivision. Eastside of Victory Street between West 7th Street and West 3rd Street, being lots one (1) through six (6), block three hundred and thirty (330); lots one (1) through six (6), block three hundred and thirty -one (331); lots one (1) through six (6), block three hundred and thirty -two (332); lots one (1) through six (6), block three hundred and thirty three (333); all in Original. City Addition. Generally being the block between Wood Lane and Victory Street, West 6th Street and West Capitol Avenue, being lots seven (7) through fifteen (15) and lots one (1) and two (2), block three hundred and forty -four (344)0 Beachs Subdivision. The property bounded by High Street, West 4th Street, West 3rd Street and Victory Street, being all of block seven (7), Deaf Mute Addition, and all of block three hundred and forty -two (342), Bartons Subdivision except lots sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) thereof. Northeast corner of West 3rd Street and Wood Lane Avenue, being lots seven (7), eight (8), and nine (9), block three hundred and forty -one (341), Cherry's Addition. The north side of West 3rd Street, generally between High Street and Wood Lane, being lots seven (7) through twelve (12) inclusive, block six (6), Deaf Mute Addition and lots four (4) through six (6), block three hundred and sixty -five (365), Bartons Subdivision. The northeast corner of West 3rd Street and Bishop Street, being lots six (8), seven (7), and eight (8), block five (5), Deaf Mute Addition. The above described property to be rezoned from "C" Two- family District, "D" Apartment District, "F" Commercial District, "G -1" Commercial District and "H" Business District to "E -1" Quiet Business and Institutional District. That property bounded by Wolfe Street, West 7th Street, Wood Lane, West 4th Street, High Street and West 3rd Street, being the State Capitol Grounds more particularly described as follows: block thirteen (13), fourteen (14), twenty -three (23), and twenty -four (24), Fausts Addition; blocks twenty -four (24) and twenty -nine (29), Phillips Addition and block eight (8) and nine (9), Deaf Mute Addition, from the present "C" Two- family District, "J" Light Industrial District, "D" Apartment District, "F" Commercial District, "G" Commercial District, "E" Apartment District, to that of the State Capitol Grounds as designated on the original zoning map. SECTION 2. That the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 5420 as amended, and the map referred to in Section 2 thereof entitled "District Map" be, and they are hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
