AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND
N01100 DOLLARS ($72500.00) FOR A TRAFFIC SURVEY AND STUDY OF LITTLE ROCK
AND PULASKI COUNTY; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11,011, SAME BEING THE BUDGET
ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR 1960; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from unappropriated surplus
in the Street Fund the sum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred and No /100
Dollars ($7,500.00) for the purpose of paying the obligation of the City
of Little Rock for the Traffic Survey and Study for 1960.
SECTION 2. Section 28 B (11) of Ordinance No. 11,011, same being
the Budget Ordinance for the City of Little Rock for 1960, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 28. STREET FUND

to read as follows:

SECTION 4. Section 28 B (1) h of Ordinance No. 11,011 is hereby amended

SECTION 5. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authori-
zed and directed to pay such portions of said Seven Thousand Five Hundred
and No /100 Dollars ($7,500.00) as are necessary from time to time to the
Arkansas State Highway Commission pursuant to a Contract executed under
the powers granted in Resolution No. 2505.
SECTION 6. It is found that Seven Thousand Five Hundred and No /100
Dollars ($7,500.00) is needed immediately to pay the City's portion of
the Traffic Survey and Study; that if payment to the Arkansas State Highway
Commission is not made immediately the Traffic Survey and Study will be
delayed and that such delay will constitute an impairment of the public
peace, health and safety; that immediate payment of said sum of money will
remove this threat to the public peace, health and safety; now therefore,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
