AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK TO THE USE OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain property and improvements thereon have been used as
a fire station by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, said property is no longer needed for such purposes and is
available for other uses and purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock that said property be put to use by and as a part of the
facilities of the Parks & Recreation Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Lots 5 and 6, Block 154 of the Original City of Little
Rock, owned by said City, are hereby dedicated to the use of the Parks
and Recreation Department as a part of its facilities and shall henceforth
and hereafter be managed, controlled and regulated as necessary by the
Parks and Recreation Department as a community recreation center.
SECTION 2. The Director of the Parks & Recreation Department is
authorized and directed to promulgate such reasonable rules and regula-
tions as may be necessary for the operation, maintenance and use of the
premises.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
