AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF B STREET HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, LOCATED IN
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a certain portion of B Street in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is dedicated as a fifteen (15) foot right -of -way;
and
WHEREAS, said fifteen (15) foot right -of -way is impractical
to develop as a Street and is not required for corporate purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the closing of said Street will be advantageous to
other municipal purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby ascertained and declared that a cer-
tain portion of B Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
hereinafter described, is not needed for corporate purposes as a
public street and should be vacated and abandoned as such.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases
and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, all pursuant to the general grant of powers given to the
City of Little Rock under Arkansas Statute 19 -2304s Acts, 1885,
No. 67, Section 3, in and to that portion of B Street in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 660 feet North of the Southeast corner
of the NE4 NE of Section 1,- Township 1 North, Rangeil3,
West, thence West 660 feet to the West line of the S2 NE4
NE', Section 10 Township 1 North, Range 13 West, thence
South 15 feet, thence East 660 feet to the East line of the
said NE' NE,, Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
thence North 15 feet to the point of beginning. This
portion of B Street is described in a Dedication Deed dated
February 18, 1949, and filed for record on February 21, 1949,
in Record Book 3961, Page 421,0
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.

SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
