ORDINANCE NO. 11,080
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF BROADMOOR DRIVE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, LO-
CATED IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to vacate, close
and abandon a certain portion of Broadmoor Drive hereinafter des-
cribed, located in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
deems the portion of Broadmoor Drive described below no longer
needed for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the best interests of the citizenry of the City
of Little Rock will be served by vacating, closing and abandoning
the portion of Broadmoor Drive described below;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that the portion of
Broadmoor Drive hereinafter described is not currently being
used as a public street and is no longer needed for any corporate
purpose and should be vacated, closed and abandoned as a public
street.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock hereby vacates, closes
and abandons for use as a public street that portion of Broadmoor
Drive in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the NE corner of Broadmoor Addition,
said corner being on the west line of University
Avenue; thence south along the west line of Uni-
versity Avenue 1,381.2 feet to a point; thence
N 820 10' W 87.3 feet to a point of beginning,
said point being in the south line of Broadmoor
Drive; thence in a southeasterly direction along
the arc of a 25.0 foot radius curve to the right
35.85 feet to its point of tangency; thence south
parallel to and 61.5 feet west of the west line
of University Avenue 272.95 feet to a point;
thence in a southeasterly direction along the are
of a 61.5 foot radius curve to the left 96.6 feet
to a point, said point being on the west line of
University Avenue; thence north along the west
line of University Avenue 50.0 feet to a point;
thence in a northwesterly direction along the are
of a 11.5 foot radius curve to the right 18.06 feet
to its point of tangency; thence north parallel to
and 11.5 feet west of the west line of University
Avenue 275.23 feet to a point; thence in a north-
easterly direction along the are of a 11.5 foot
radius curve to the right 18.06 feet to a point
on the west line of University Avenue; thence N 820

10' W 87.3 feet to the point of beginning, con-
taining 17,574.33 square feet.
SECTION 3. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Record of that
county.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
