AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF
EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 134 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the majority of two— thirds in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
in Sewer Improvement District No. 134 of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized
for the purpose of building a sanitary sewer system to serve the property
in the District, with an outlet or an outfall sewer line beyond the
boundaries of the District if deemed advisable, have petitioned the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock for the construction of
said improvement, and that the cost thereof be assessed upon the real
property of said District according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and
parcel of real property situated in said District equal or exceed the
local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $90,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTIN 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said District be assessed according to the assessment list
for said District as the same naw remains in the office of the City Clerk
or may hereaftr be changed, and that five per centum (5%) of the assess —
went on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be collected by the
County Collector with the first installment of general taxes in 1961 and
annually thereafter with the first installment of general taxes until the
whole of said local assessment shall be paid.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with ae hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
