AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN
MEADOWCLIFF ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its order on July 20, 1960, upon the petition of Murphy
L. Taylor and other owners of the property affected after due
notice of hearing on said petition for the time and in the manner
prescribed by law, ordering the annexation of the following
described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
"Starting at the Northwest corner of the NEk SEk NW4,
Section 25, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
thence S 10 42' 30" W along the West line of Lots 380
through 378, and 365 through 363, Meadowcliff Addition
to the City of Little Rock, 600.0 feet to the South-
west corner of said Lot 363, the point of beginning,
thence Easterly on the City Limits of Little Rock,
Arkansas, along the South line of Lots 363 through 356
extended to a point on the East right -of -way line of
Sheraton Drive; thence Southeasterly along the East
right -of -way line of Sheraton Drive to the Northwest
corner of Lot 499; thence Easterly along the North
line of Lots 499 through 489 to the northeast corner
of Lot 489; thence Southerly along the East line of
Lots 489 and 488 to the Southeast corner of Lot 488;
thence West - Southwesterly along the South line of Lots
488 and 487 to the Southwest corner of Lot 487; thence
Southwesterly to the South corner of Lot 486 on the East
right -of -way line of Hanover Drive; thence South -
Southeasterly along the East right -of -way line of Hanover
Drive to the North right -of -way line of Blount Road;
thence Westerly along the North right -of -way line of
Blount Road and along the South line of Lots 485, 470,
469, 466 and 465 to the Southwest corner of Lot 465 on
the West line of the SWk NEk, said Section 25; thence
Northerly along the West line of the SWk NEk, said Section
25 on the West line of Lots 465 through 463, 460 and 459
to the common back corner of Lots 457.; 458 and 459;,thence
Westerly along the South line of Lots 457 and 4i, 150 feet
to a point; thence S 20 00' W, 16.1 feet toa point; -
thence Westerly along the South line of.-Lots 456 through
449 to the Southwest corner of Lot 449; thence Northerly
along the West line of the East Half of SE'k NWk , on the
West line of Lots 449 and 448, to the point of beginning.

"All of said lands are located within and comprise Lots
440 to 499, inclusive, of said Meadowcliff Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas."
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any proceedings
in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or elsewhere,
to prevent said annexation, and no protestants have appeared and
no notice given to the authorities of the City of Little Rock,
.Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside or appeal
from the said order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above - described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock,. Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation
of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated area
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, allcf the lands described
hereinabove in this Ordinance; and that said lands be and are
hereby assigned and attached to the Fourth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that when two copies of
the order of the Pulaski County Court concerning this annexation
have been prepared and duly certified by the Pulaski County Clerk,
one copy of said order shall be delivered to the Little Rock City
Clerk for filing and the other copy, together with a certified copy
of this Ordinance, shall be delivered to and filed with the Secretary
of State of the State of Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas Statutes
(1947) Section 19 -305.
