AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 113,011
BY PROVIDING FOR Ail ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 20 B of Ordinance No. 11,011, same being
the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the
year 1960, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 20. General Fund -- Manager - S
B. Salaries - Supervision
No. Present Proposed Annual
Emp. Classification Range Monthly Monthly Total
(1) 1 City Manager $1,500 $1,666.67 $20,000
(2) 1 Assistant to the City Manager -- 600.00 2,700"
SECTION 2. Whereas there is an immediate need for the c:Zeation
of the position of 1ssistant- to the City Manager and this ordinance
is necessary to permit the appointment of a competent person to fill
said position with appropriate pay therefor; now therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist in order to permit proper functionin -; of
City Government and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
