AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PULASKI COUNTY.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Planning Commission, on December 4,
1958, adopted a motion requesting that East 26th Street (Roosevelt
Road) be properly dedicated for street purposes of certain real
property owned by the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has found that said lands
have been used for public road purposes for several years, but
have not been dedicated as such; Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute a dedication deed on behalf of the City of Little Rock,
conveying to the public for the purposes of a public street and------
the installation and maintenance of public utilities, a strip of
land described as
of Pulaski, State
Township 1 North,
Township 1 North,
of varying widths
hereof. The cent,
more particularly
follows: A tract of land situated in the County
of Arkansas, being part of the NE4 of Section 13,
Range 12 West, and part of the NW4 of Section 18,
Range 11 West, and being a strip of right -of -way
as shown in the schedule which is made a part
arline of the herein described right -of -way is
described as follows:
From the northeast corner of Section 18, Township 1 North,
Range 11 West, proceed westerly along the northerly boundary
thereof 1319.0 feet, more or less, to a point; thence deflect
90025' -30" left and proceed 296.8 feet, more or less, to a
point on the centerline of Roosevelt Road; thence deflect
89051' right and proceed 2865.35 feet, more or less, to a
point of curvature at Station 0 +00 on the said centerline;
thence along the arc of a 5056' curve to the left along said
centerline 312.10 feet, more or less, to Station 3 +12.10 for
a point of beginning, said point being on the westerly exten-
sion of the existing southerly right -of -way line of Roosevelt
Road. Thence continue along the arc of said 5 56' curve to
the left along said centerline 442.90 feet, more or less, to
a point of tangency at Station 7 +55.00; thence 466.79 feet,
more or less, south 44035' west along said centerline to a
point of curvature at Station 12 +21.79; thence along the arc
of a 10000' curve to the right along said centerline 1138.30
feet, more or less, to a point of tangency at Station 23 +60.07;
thence 77.90 feet, more or less, north 21'341 west along said
centerline to a point of curvature at Station 24 +37.97; thence
along the arc of a 10042' curve to the left along said center-
line 295.24 feet, more or less to Station 27 +33.21, a point on
the easterly extension of the existing southerly right -of -way
line of Roosevelt Road, and containing 6.671 acres, more or
less, excluding that portion occupied by the Missouri Pacific
Railroad right -of -way.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
