AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works, by resolution duly enacted on the 15th day
of July, 1960, has requested the Board of Directors to authorize
the dedication for street purposes of certain-real property owned
by the City of Little Rock for the use and benefit of the Little
Rock Municipal Water Works; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has found that said
lands have been used for public road purposes for many years, but
have not been dedicated as such, and has also found that said
lands are not required for waterworks purposes; Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute a dedication deed on behalf of the City of Little Rock,
conveying to the public for the purposes of a public street and
the installation and maintenance of public utilities, a strip
of land described as follows:
The E2 of a parcel of land in the W2 of the SWk of
Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as commencing
at the Southwest corner of the NWT of the SW2 of said
Section 33, run on a bearing of North 89 degrees 44
minutes East along the South line of the N2 of the SW�
of said Section 33 a distance of 777.5 feet to the point
of beginning; thence North 24 degrees 44 minutes East a
distance of 181.1 feet to a point; thence South 52
degrees 59 minutes East along the South right of way line
of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad a
distance of 61.4 feet to a point; thence South 24 degrees
44 minutes West a distance of 247.3 feet to a point;
thence Westerly along the North right of way line of
Arkansas Highway No. 10 (60 foot right of way) a distance
of 61.7 feet to a point; thence North 24 degrees 44
minutes East a distance of 93.8 feet to the point of
beginning, being an area of 0.180 acre, more or less.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.

The Board of Commissioners of the Little Roc
Water Works met k Municipal_
in regular session at 10 :00 A.M. on the 15th
Of July, 1960. All members of the Board day
were present.
The following resolution was introduced and read
pursuant to motion duly and,
y made and seconded, was unanimously adopted;
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water the use
P ter Works, is the owner
of the hereinafter described real property; and
WHEREAS, said lands have been used for many years as

y although not dedicated for that purpose, and are
not required for waterworks purposes; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of Commissio
that it would be to the advantage of the Water Works ners
that said lands be dedicated as a public and the public
roadway; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the
Rock Municipal Water Works that the Board of Directors ittle

meeting, insofar as they relate to the property described therein,
as the same appears in the minutes records on file with me as
such Secretary.
