HomeMy WebLinkAbout11126ORDINANCE NO. 11,126 AN ORDINANCE WAIVING HEIGHT LIMITATIONS ON A CERTAIN COMMERCIAL TOWER HERETOFORE ERECTED ON THE TOWER, BUILDING; AND FOR OTHER- PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to authority granted in Ordinance No. 10,778, Section 9, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, does hereby waive height limitations applicable under said Ordinance to a certain commercial tower heretofore erected atop the Tower Building, Fourth and Center Streets, Little Rock, Arkansas. SECTION 2. Whereas, it is found that a certain tower erected on the Tower Building, Fourth and Center Streets, Little Rock, Arkansas, has been erected for commercial purposes and is in use as a transmitting tower of radio communications, among other things; and whereas, it is in the best interests of the public that said tower remain at its present height and location, and the removal thereof would constitute a detriment to the public health, safety and welfare; now therefore, an emergency is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
