AN ORDINANCE CREATING PROJECTS NUMBERS 39, 40 AND 41 IN ADDITION
TO THE PROJECTS PREVIOUSLY CREATED; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS AND
TRANSFERS WITHIN THE 1958 BOND CONSTRUCTION FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to create certain projects
under the Right of Way Fund and Parks & Airport Construction Fund and
appropriate certain moneys for said projects; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to appropriate certain
moneys to and transfer unecumbered balances from certain projects pre-
viously created by Ordinances;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created in the Right of Way Fund
the following designated projects, in addition to those projects pre-
viously created, and the sums of money set out opposite the said pro-
jects are hereby appropriated from the 1958 Bond Construction Funds:
A. RIGHT OF WAY FUND
Project 39. University Avenue
Project 40. South Broadway & Roosevelt

SECTION 2. There is hereby created in the Parks & Airport Con-
struction Fund the following designated project:
D. PARK & AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND
Project 41. Adult Center - MacArthur Park
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from the 1958 Bond Con-
struction Funds, in addition to those previously appropriated by ordi-
nances, the following sums of money to the particular projects set op-
posite the said sums:

Miscellaneous Expenses
C. FIRE DEPARTMENT CONSTRUCTION FUND
Project 10. Meadowcliff
Project 11. Roosevelt & Howard

SECTION 5. The need for capital improvements within the City of
Little Rock creates a condition detrimental to the health, safety and
welfare of the citizens of said City and by being able to expend the funds
hereinabove appropriated and transferred at the earliest possible time
such condition can be appreciably relieved; now therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the
preservation of public peace, health and safety shall be in full force

and effect from and after its passage and approval, and all ordinances
and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
