ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING A
PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2, REMMELtS ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the loth
day of September, 1960, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon a portion of the alley in Block 2, Remmel'is
Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the
plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book
2, Page 181, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
including drainage
Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements/in said easements
portion of alley; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the portion of alley, hereinafter described,
has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley,
as herein described; has not been actually used by the public
generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent
to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the
property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with
the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandon-
ment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of such portion of alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated
as follows:

Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 15, Block
2, Remmelts Addition to the City of Little Rock, thence
run Northwesterly with the east boundary line of said
Lot 15 a distance of 130 feet to a point which is 10 feet
Southeasterly of the Northeast corner of said Lot 15,
thence run North 62 degrees 01" East a distance of 30
feet to a point which is 10 feet Southeasterly of the
Northwest corner of Lot 14 in said Block 2, thence run
in a Southeasterl direction with the West boundary line
of the said Lot 1� a distance of 130 feet to the South-
westerly corner of said' 1'ot, thence run South 62 degrees
O1" West a distance of 30 feet to the point of beginning.

subject, however, to any public utility easementstlocated in
said portion of alley.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
