AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 112139 APPROPRIATING
CERTAIN MONEYS TO THE USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK PORT AUTHORITY,
LITTLE ROCK HOUSING AUTHORITY, COMPLETION OF BOND PROJECT,
AND ACQUISITION OF FIRE EQUIPMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from Unappropriated
Surplus in the General Fund the sum of Twenty Thousand and No /100
Dollars ($20,000.00) to the Little Rock Port Authority.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twelve Thousand
and No /100 Dollars ($12,000.00) from Unappropriated Surplus in the
General Fund to the Public Buildings Construction Fund (Project 30).
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from Unappropriated Sur-
plus in the General Fund the sum of One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five
Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($112,500.00) to the Little Rock Housing
Authority.
SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Twenty One
Thousand Ninety Two and No /100 Dollars ($21,092.00) from Unappropriated
Surplus in the General Fund to Account No. 7.7 of the Fire Department (94).
SECTION 5. Section 8.G. of Ordinance No. 11,139 is hereby amended
to read as follows:

SECTION 17. It is found that certain obligations of the City of
Little Rock exist and are due for payment, and WHEREAS, if payment is
not made when due the credit of the City of Little Rock will be impaired
thereby threateAngthe public health, safety, welfare and convenience,
and WHEREAS, this ordinance is designed to relieve the condition and
preserve the public health, safety, welfare and convenience; now there-
fore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
