AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NO. 11,1689 SAME
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF "F"
STREET PLATTED AS "G" STREET BETWEEN MCAD00 AND COOLIDGE. .
STREETS IN BLOCKS 219 229 23; 269 27, AND 28, SUCCESS ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR THE EXISTING WATER LINES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas has passed Ordinance No. 119168, same being an ordinance
closing that portion of "F" Street designated on the plat of Success
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as "G" Street, appearing
of record in Plat Book One, Page One- hundred and twenty - eight, in the
office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of "F" Street platted as "G" Street between
McAdoo and Coolidge closed in three (3) parts, part number
1 being between McAdoo and Bryant, bounded on the north by
Lots 6 and 7, Block 210 and on the south by Lots 1 and 129
Block 28, except the east five (5) feet and the west five
(5) feet thereof located in Success Addition;
Part number 2 being between Bryant and Mellon Street bounded
on the north by Lot 6 and 79 Block 22 and bounded on south by
Lots 1 and 12, Block 27, except the east five (5) feet and the
west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success „Addition;
Part number 3 being between Mellon Street and Coolidge Street,
bounded on the north by Lots 6 and 79 Block 23, and bounded on
the south by Lots 1 and 12, Block 26, except the east five (5)
feet and the west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success,
Addition.
and;
WHEREAS, the petition filed with the Board. of Directors of
the City of Little Rock in connection with this street closing
provided that this street closing was subject to any easements for
existing utility lines, and;
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Municipal Water Works has located
within said street a water line, and Ordinance No. 119168 failed to
provide for an easement for existing utility lines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 119168 is hereby amended
to read..as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby releases
vacates, and abandons all its rights, together with the rights
of the public, except expressly reserving an easement for the
water lines of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works as said
lines are now in place in said street. The street is more
particularly described as follows:
That a portion of "F" Street platted as "G" Street between
McAdoo and Coolidge closed in three (3) parts, part number
-_ 1 being between McAdoo and Bryant, bounded on the north by
Lots 6 and 7. Block 219 and on the south by Lots 1 and 12,
Block 28, except the east five (5) feet and the west five
(5) feet thereof located in Success Addition;
Part number 2 being between Bryant and Mellon Street bounded
nn the north by Lot 6 and 7, Block 22 and bounded on the south by
Lots 1 and 12, Block 27, except the east five (5) feet and the
west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success Addition;
Part number 3 being between Mellon Street and Coolidge Street
bounded on the north by Lots 6 and 7, Block 23, and bounded on
the south by Lots 1 and 12, Block 26, except the east five (5)
feet and the west five (5) feet thereof, located in Success
Addition;
SECTION 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas and Recorded in the deed records of said County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its passage.
