HomeMy WebLinkAbout11188r s ORDINANCE NO. 11,188 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2, BELLEVUE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 1st day of May , 19 61 , asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abondon all of the alley in Block 2, Bellevue Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Plat Book _/ Page ,,R,V/, in the office of Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and WHEREAS, after due notices as regttred by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as analley, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (S) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION. 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows: The alley running East and West through Block 2, Bellevue Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which lies and is situated between Highway #10 on the North, "B" Street on the South, Second Street on the West and Mississippi Avenue on the East in the Said Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley. ODD -- 1 e -1 A SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
