AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 21.A.(1) and (8), 21.B.(1)a.
AND 21.B.(3) OF ORDINANCE NO. 11,1392 SAME BEING THE BUDGET
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YEAR 1961, BY
PROVIDING FOR A MILK CONTROL SUPERVISOR AND A MILK SANITARIAN
IN THE MILK AND DAIRY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Sections 21.A.(1) and (8) of Ordinance No. 11,139,
same being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the
year 1961, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 21 - General Fund - Milk & Dairy 168
A. BUDGET SUMMARY
Estimated 1960 1961
(1) Salaries $530746. $502980.
(8) TOTAL $712300. $67,614."
SECTION 2. Section 21.B.(1)a. of Ordinance No. 11,139 is
hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 4. It has been determined that certain changes in the
Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1961 should be made in order to
provide for a Milk Control Supervisor and an additional Milk Sanitarian
in the Milk & Dairy Department of the City in order to facilitate the
proper and efficient management of said Department and that this Ordi-
nance will provide therefor; now therefore, an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation'
of the public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
