ORDINANCE NO. 11,217
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 626 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two - thirds In assessed value of the real property located
within the territory hereinafter described, have filed a pet-
ition praying that an Improvement district ne established for
the purposes hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
heard all parties deslrin.g to be heard, and has ascertained
that said petition was signed by more than two - thirds in as-
sessed value of the owners of real property within said prop-
erty within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improve-
ment district embracing the following property In the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wits
BLOCK LOTS
334 1, 2, 11, 12
335 5, 6, 7, 8
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering In
such a manner and with such materials as the Commissioners to be
elected for said Improvement district shall deem to be for the
best interest of the district, the following parts of the follow -
Ing streets In the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -witz
From the West line of Pulaski Street to the
East pavement line of Victory Street on West
Second Street.

and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, to be assessed
and charged upon the real property above described, provided,
the liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited
to Its assessed benefits.
Said District shall be known as "Street Improvement
District No. 626 of Little Rock, Arkansas ", and Ray-
mond Robinson, John R, Thompson and Thelma Lumpkin are hereby
named Commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement
for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
In force from and after its passage.
