ORDINANCE N0. 11,222
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING
THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED
IN MEADOWCLIFF ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on August 30, 1961, upon the Petition of Dr. Henry
E. Martin and other owners of the property affected after due notice
of hearing on said Petition for the time and in the manner prescribed
by law, ordering the annexation of the following described lands
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas:
A tract of land in the SE'k NWk, Section 25, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 521, Meadow-
cliff Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkans$sy;

thence N 10 46' E, 924.4 feet to the NorthwestYeorner
of Lot 534 of said Meadowcliff Addition; thence N
870 36' 30" W, 6.1 feet to the Southwest corner of
Lot 535 of said Meadowcliff Addition; thence N 20
25' E along the East line of Lots 401, 400, 399 and
3983, 357.1 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 502,
said Meadowcliff Addition; thence S 850 56' 30" E
along the South line of Lots 397, 396, 395, 394, 393
and 392, 331.3 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot
504, said Meadowcliff Addition; thence S 10 42' 30" W
along the West line of Lots 380, 3793, 378, 3659 364, 363,
448 and 449, 878.1 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot
449 of said Meadowcliff Addition; thence S 20 16' W,
395.2 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 520 of said
Meadowcliff Addition; thence N 870 24' W along the
North right -of -way line of Blount Road, 326 feet to
the Southwest corner of Lot 521 of said Meadowcliff
Addition, the point of beginning.
All of said lands are located within and comprise Lots
500 through 535, inclusive, of said Meadowcliff Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,

and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any proceedings in',
the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or elsewhere, to
prevent said annexation, and no protestants have appeared and no
notice given to ibe authorities of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside or appeal from the said
Order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, said above - described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation
of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated area
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of the lands described
hereinabove in this Ordinance; and that said lands be and are hereby
assigned and attached to the Fourth Ward of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that when two copies of the
Order of the Pulaski County Court concerning this annexation have
been prepared and duly certified by the Pulaski County Clerk, one copy
of said Order shall be delivered to the Little Rock City Clerk for
filing and the other copy, together with a certified copy of this
Ordinance, shall be delivered to and filed with the Secretary of State
of the State of Arkansas, pursuant to Arkansas Statutes (1947) Section
19 -305.
