AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF A STREET LYING IN THE NORTH 1/2 OF THE NE -1/4 NE -1/4
NE -I /4, SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP I NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, MORE PARTI-
CULARLY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, AND LOCATED IN LITTLE R=,
ARMNSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
WHEREAS, a certain portion of the hereinafter described street was
dedicated as a forty -foot right -of -way and dead ends in private property;
and
WHEREAS, said forty -foot dead end right -of -way is impractical to
develop as a street and is not required for corporate purposes; and
WHEREAS, the closing of said street will be advantageous to other
municipal. purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. It is hereby ascertained and declared that a certain por-
tion of the street hereinafter described in Section 2 and located in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, is not needed for corporate purposes as a public
street and should be vacated and abandoned as such.
Section 2. The. City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases and
abandons all. its rights together with the rights of the public generally, all
pursuant to the general grant of powers given to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, under Arkansas Statutes 19 -2304 (Acts 1885, No. 67 9 3) In and
to that portion of the street in. the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, described
as follows:
Commencing at a point that is 310 -1/3 feet west and
164.87 feet south of the northeast corner of Section 1,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, running thence
south 164.87 feet, thence west 40 feet, thence north
164.87 feet, thence east 4.0 feet to the point of begin
ning .
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street.
Section 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk
shall be filed in the office of the recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and

recorded in the Deed Records of the county.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
