AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 13 -15 AND 31 -15 TO THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCR.BY.
PROVIDING A_SERVICE CHARGE FOR DIRECT.FIRE AND - BURGLAR
ALARM.CONNECTIO NS WITH THE FIRE -AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE.ROCK;.AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
M BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
N ROCK, SAS:
SECTION 1. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended by adding a Section to be de-
signated 13 -15 which shall be in form and substance as follows:
"Sec. 13 -15. Service charge for fire alarm system
connection direct to the Central Fire
Station,
For purposes of this Section the term person shall in-
clude any natural person, partnership, corporation, asso-
ciation, institution, governmental agency, or other entity
capable of acting as a principal. From and after the
effective date of this Ordinance, any person who for his
or its own behalf, or for and in behalf of any other per-
son, maintains or procures a direct line or connection
between any fire alarm system and the Central Fire Station
in the City of Little Rock shall pay, annually in advance,
to the City Collector of the City of Little Rock a service
charge of Twelve and NellOO Dollars ($12.00) per year for
each such direct line or connection to defray expenses in-
curred by the City of Little Rock in the upkeep, maintenance
and supervision of said direct connections."
SECTION 2. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended by adding a Section to be de-
signated 31 -15 which shall be in fora and substance as follows:
"Sec. 31 -15. Service charge for burglar alarm
system connection alrect to the
Police 6C courts Building,
For purposes of this Section the term person shall in-
clude any natural person, partnership, corporation, asso-
ciation, institution, governmental agency, or other entity

capable of acting as a principal. From and after the
effective date of this Ordinance, any person who for his
or its own behalf, or for and in behalf of any other per-
son, maintains or procures a direct line or connection
between any burglar alarm system and the Police & Courts
Building of the City of Little Rock shall pay, annually in
advance, to the City Collector of the City of Little Rock,
a service charge of Twelve and No /100 Dollars ($12.00) per
year for each such direct line or connection to defray
expenses incurred by the City of Little Rock in the up-
keep, maintenance and supervision of said direct con-
nection.'
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after January 1, 1962.
