THE LITTLE. ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION FROM TEN
TO ELEVEN; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE

rd SECTION 1. Section 29 -2 of the Code of Ordinances of

the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"Sec. 29 -2. Members.
"The Little Rock Planning Commission shall
consist of a total of eleven members, of which
number ten members shall be citizens appointed
by the city manager and approved by the board of
directors of the city, one member shall be a mem-
ber of the Little Rock School Board, or its
appointed representative, who shall be selected
by said board and approved by the board of direc-
tors of the city.
"The citizen members shall be qualified by
knowledge and experience in matters pertaining
to the physical, social, economic and cultural
development of the city, shall hold no other ap-
pointive or elective public office in the city
government except membership in the Little Rock
board of adjustment or the metropolitan area
planning commission of Pulaski County and shall be
residents of the city. All members shall serve
without compensation."

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
