ORDINANCE NO. 11,239
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS FROM UNAPPROPRIATED
BALANCE IN THE STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY FUND TO CERTAIN SPECIFIC
PROJECTS WITHIN SAID FUND; APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS FROM
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE IN THE PARKS AND AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION
FUND TO CERTAIN PROJECTS WITHIN SAID FUND; TRANSFERRING CER-
TAIN SUMS BETWEEN PROJECTS WITHIN THE STREET CONSTRUCTION FUND
AND PUBLIC BUILDING CONSTRUCTION FUND; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain Projects within the several Bond Funds
of the City of Little Rock have over - extended the appropriations
originally established; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
appropriate sums to various Projects from the unappropriated
balance in certain Bond Funds and to transfer sums between cer-
tain Projects within certain Bond Funds heretofore appropriated;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the un-
appropriated balance in the Street Right -Of -Way Fund the fol-
lowing sums for the use of the Projects within said Fund so de-
signated:
a. $78,413.56 to Project 2 (Cantrell Road);
b. $7,267.78 to Project 39 (University Avenue);
c. $41,000.00 to Project 37 (Westrock);
d, $516.24 to the South Broadway Project.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the un-
appropriated balance in the Parks and Airport Construction Fund
the following sums for the use of the Projects within said Fund
so designated:
a. $282.18 to Project 18 (Zoo Repairs);
b. $750.00 to Project 41 (Adult Center).

SECTION 3. There is hereby transferred the sum of
$21,371.51 from Street Construction Fund, Project 7 (Storm
Drainage), to Street Construction Fund, Project 8 (Signal
Systems) .
SECTION 4. There is hereby transferred the sum of
$733.93 from Public Buildings Construction Fund, Project 38
(City Hall), to Public Buildings Construction Fund, Project
30 (Police and Courts Building).
SECTION 5. Whereas, certain budgeted Projects with-
in the Bond Funds of the City of Little Rock have exceeded the
sums appropriated for the purposes of said Projects, and whereas,
this ordinance is necessary in order to complete the purposes
of said Projects and to honor the indebtednesses incurred and
to be incurred when due; now therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance being necessary for the
preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
