AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 11,241, SAME BEING
THE BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE
YEAR 1962, BY PROVIDING FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL LABORERS
IN THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT; BY PROVIDING FOR AN INTRA-
DEPARTMENTAL TRANSFER WITHIN THE TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DE-
PARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Subsections u. and v. under Section JJ.(1) of
Ordinance No. 11,241, same being the Budget Ordinance of the City
of Little Rock for the year 1962, are hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:

SECTION 2. Subsection k. under Section NN.(2) of Ordinance No.
11,241 is hereby amended to read as follows:

11,241 is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 4. It has been found and determined that certain changes
should be made in the Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1962 in order
to provide for additional laborers in the Sanitation Department and to
provide for a transfer of money within the Traffic Engineering Department
so that certain equipment may be maintained in good repair, all of which

is needed in order to provide for the efficient management and operation
of the City Government; now therefore, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
