ORDINANCE NO. 11,278
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING THE PBOPERTT AT -THE SOUTHEAST CORNER
OF WEST MARKHAM STREET AND HUGHES STREET, LITTLE BOCK ARKANSAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED; THE LITTLE $RK ZONING
ORDINANCE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following property
be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Tract No. 11i•A Southeast corner of West Markham Street and Hughes
Street: described as part of the Southwest due ,-quarter, Northeast one-
quarter (SW 1/49 NE 1/4), Section One, Township -One- North, Range- Thirteen.:
West, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point Sixes
Oundred twenty eight (628) feet North of the Southwest corner of the
Southwest one: - quarter, Northeast one »quarter (SW 1/4, NE 1/4) Section Ones
Township.= 0ne.:North9 Range�Thirteen -West, thence North Seven*hundred two
(702) feet more or less to the Northwest corner of the said Southwest
one.-quarter, Northeast one= quarter (SW 1/49 NE 1/4), thence East along
the center line of a county -road known as West Markham Street & distance
of Three - hundred (300) feet; thence South Seven - hundred two (702) feet
more or less to a point which is Three- hundred (300) feet due East of the
point of beginning, thence West Three - hundred (300) feet to the point of
beginning, containing Four and Eight- hundred thirty -five thousandths
(4.835) acres more or less and subject to the public easement for
roadway and public utilities over the North Thirty (30) feet thereof,
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, from "A" One - family District, to "D"
Apartment District.
SECTION 2. That the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No.
5420 as amended, and the map referred to in Section 2 thereof entitled
"District Map" be, and they are hereby amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
` - - -ged-t3 on 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.
