ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING A POR-
TION OF A STREET LYING BETWEEN LOTS 48 AND 59, IN
SHANNON HILLS EAST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 22nd
day of October, 1962, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon a portion of the street lying between Lots 48 and
59 in Shannon Hills East Addition to the City of Little Rock,
as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Plat Book 10, page 4, in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public
easements in said portion of street; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the portion of
street designated as follows:
That portion of Amherst Drive lying east of the
west property line of Lot 48, Shannon Hills East,
an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and more particularly described as: Beginning at
the NE corner of Lot 59 of said Addition; thence
northeasterly to the SE corner of Lot 48 of said
Addition; thence westerly along the north R/W
line of Amherst Drive to the SW corner of said
Lot 48; thence southerly along the west line of
said Lot 48 extended south a distance of 50 feet
to a point on the south R/W line of Amherst Drive;
thence easterly along the south R/W line of
Amherst Drive to the NE corner of Lot 59 Shannon
Hills East and the point of beginning. (All as
shown by plat of record in Plat Book 10 at page
4).

SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
