HomeMy WebLinkAbout11410ORDINANCE N0. 11, 410 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE RACK, ARKANWS, VACATING AND CLOSING THE STREET DESCRIBED BELOW IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the �3 th day of May 1963, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the street as designated on the certified drawing attached to said petition. WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the street, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the street to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandon- ment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street; NOW, TH=ORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK AS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as follows: Beginning at a point 310 feet West of and 20 feet South of the Northeast corner of the N* N1* of Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West; thence South 144.87 feet; thence West 20 feet; thence North 114.87 feet; thence East 20 feet to the ioint of beginning. subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said street. 000 -33 G - /D. SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. SECTION 3.
