SC'TIGN 1. The C_ ty of Little oclr. toes hereby condemn for
street right -of -way and drainage facilities the following-describ-
ed parcels of real property situated in the City of Little 'ock,
Ar :ansa s :
Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13; Block 16; C. O. Brack
Addition to the _,ity of Little _';ock, Arkansas.
Said property appears to be owned by I,anie Schumann.
The aforesaid properties are necessary to be utilized in
the widening, pavin- and otherwise improving '"est 32nd Street in
the City of Little <oc° and to provide for necessary storm
drainage in relation t'hercto .
SECTION 2. The City attorney is hereby authorized and
directed to file in the proper Courts proceedin^s for the con-
demnation of the properties described in .section 1 hereof and to
secure an immediate Order of such Court allowing the City to
take immediate possession of the properties described in Section
1 hereof upon its posting bond in an amount to be determined by
the Court and to do any and all other things reasonably necessary
in obtaining immediate possession of said properties.
SECTION 3. lvlhereas the condition of vest 32nd Street at its
intersection with Coleman Creek in the City of Little ;ock,
Arkansas, is hazardous and constitutes an immediate and present
threat to the health, safety and welfare of persons driving in

and about said area; and whereas the immediate condemnation and
construction of improvements to said 32nd Street are necessary
to relieve the conditions aforesaid; and whereas this Ordinance
is necessary to authorize such construction and improvements;

Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
