AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF BUDGET
ORDINANCE NO. 11,4423, AS AMENDED, SAME BEING THE
BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR
1964, BY MAKING TRANSFER F1@OM SU?.PLUS ACCOUNTS WITH-
IN THE BUDGET TO DEFICIT ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE BUDGET;
APPROPRIATING MONEYS FROM UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS IN
THE GENERAL ACCOUNT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain departments of the City have surplus funds
in certain of their Budget Accounts; and,
WHEREAS, certain departments of the City need additional
funds within the other such accounts to facilitate the management
of their departments; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to authorize certain transfers from surplus accounts
within the Budget to deficit accounts within the Budget and to
appropriate funds from Unappropriated Surpluses, where necessary,
to amend certain parts of Ordinance No. 11,442, as amended, same
being the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock for the
Year, 1964, in order to make such funds available.
NOW, THEREFO E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE '_ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. In order to make moneys available in deficit
accounts within the Budget of the City of Little Rock for 1964,
the Board of Directors does hereby approve transfer from certain
accounts within the Budget to other accounts and in the sums as
follows:

SECTION 4. One Thousand Three Hundred Eighty and No /100
Dollars ($1,380.00) is hereby transferred from the agregate of
all appropriations in subsections 1 through 11, under Section 3
(21) A of Ordinance 11,442, to the accounts reflected in Sec-
tions 5, 6 and 20 of this Ordinance.

by amended to read as follows:

SECTION 7. There is hereby appropriated from Unappropriated
Surplus in the General Fund the sum of Twelve Thousand One Hun-
dred Fifty -Nine and No /100 Dollars ($12,159.00) to the accounts
and in the sum as set forth in .Sections 8, 9, and 10 of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 8. Section 3 (6) A, 1 through 16, of Ordinance
11,442 are in the aggregate increased by the sum of Eleven Thous-
and Three Hundred Three and No /100 Dollars ($11,303.00), for
salaries to be Daid to the following additional positions:
