AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED ONE
AND 26/100 DOLLARS ($69401.26) FOR PAYMENT OF HOSPITAL
AND MEDICAL EKPENSES FOR AN INJURED FIREMAN: AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
balance in the General Fund a sum of Six Thousand Four Hundred One
and 26/100 Dollars ($61401.26) for the purpose of paying certain
medical expenses on an interim basis for a fireman injured in the
line of duty in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more specifically
for the medical expenses of Charles E. Bailey accrued in the afore-
said sum since the last payment by the City of Little Rock to the
hospital, doctors and other parties providing medical services
to the said Charles E. Bailey.
SECTION 2. Subsection (11)F. 2. of Section 3 of Ordinance
11,442, same being the Budget Ordinance of City of Little Rock for
1964, is hereby amended, as follows:

SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to pay to the persons and institutions
entitled thereto the proper sums from the total funds herein
appropriated. ,
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
