3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ENFORCEMENT VIDEO, LLC, DB /A
5 WATCH GUARD VIDEO FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE IN -CAR
6 CAMERA SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE, SOFTWARE
7 AND INSTALLATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Bid # 12247 was issued to obtain competitive bids for a purchase order of an
10 anticipated total of 150 Police in -car camera systems with associated hardware, software and installation,
11 and Enforcement Video, LLC, d /b /a Watch Guard Video submitted the most responsive and responsible
12 bid; and,
13 WHEREAS, twenty -five (25) in -car camera systems will be purchased initially for a total amount of
14 One Hundred Fifty -Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Seventeen and 90/100 Dollars, ($157,517.90) with
15 additional purchases as funding becomes available;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
19 Enforcement Video, LLC, d /b /a Watch Guard Video for the initial purchase of twenty -five in -car camera
20 systems for the amount of One Hundred Fifty -Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Seventeen and 90/100
21 Dollars ($157,517.90), with anticipated additional purchases up to a total of 150 units as funds become
22 available.
23 Section 3. Funds for the initial purchase of twenty -five (25) systems are available in the 2010 Justice
24 Assistance Grant.
25 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
31 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
