3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MANSFIELD OIL COMPANY, AS THE
5 PRIMARY VENDOR FOR BULK FUEL DELIVERIES, AND MID -
6 SOUTH SALES, AS THE SECONDARY VENDOR, FOR THE PURCHASE
7 OF FUEL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the formal bidding process was utilized to obtain competitive bids for the purchase of
10 fuel for all City fueling sites and the lowest responsible and responsive bidders were Mansfield Oil
11 Company as primary vendor, and Mid -South Sales as secondary vendor; and,
12 WHEREAS, this APO will be for a period of one (1) -year, with the option to extend annually for two
13 (2) additional years;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual
17 contract for bulk fuel deliveries with Mansfield Oil Company, as primary vendor, and Mid -South Sales as
18 secondary vendor, in an estimated annual purchase amount of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00).
19 Section 2. This annual contract will be renewable for two (2) years, upon agreement of both parties.
20 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated through the 2012 Fleet Operating Budget.
21 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
