AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO WIT:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 54,
TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, RUN THENCE WEST
728.4 FEET MORE OR LESS TO A POINT, THENCE NORTH
533.4 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY
LINE OF RODNEY PARHAM ROAD; THENCE IN A SOUTHEASTERLY
DIRECTION ALONG THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SAID
ROAD 837.65 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE EAST BOUNDARY
LINE OF SECTION 34, THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE SAID EAST
BOUNDARY LINE OF SAID SECTION 186.3 FEET TO THE POINT
OF BEGINNING, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS..

WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, entered
its order on Jun® 27„ 19631, upon petition of the sole owner of the
property, J. 0. Porter, Sr., Forrest Henry and Brooks Bradley, Trus-.
tees for Grace Presbyterian Church, U. S., of Little Rock, Arkansas,
after due and proper notice of hearing on said petition for the time
and in the manner prescribed by law, ordering the annexation of the
following described lands to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Section 34, Town.
ship 2 North, Range 13 West, run thence West 728.4 feet
more or less to a point, thence North 533.4 feet more or
less to the South right of way line of Rodney Parham
Road; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the South
right of way line of said road 837.65 feet more or less
to the East boundary line of Section 34, thence South
along the said East boundary line of said Section 186.3
feet to the point of beginning, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS more than 30 days have elapsed since the entry of said
order of the Pulaski County Court and no person, firm or corporation
has instituted any proceedings in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, or elsewhere, to prevent said annexation, and no protestanta
have appeared and no notice given to the authorities of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside or
appeal from the said order of the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas; and
WHEREAS said above described lands are contiguous to and adjoin
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting through
this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation of and
does hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated area of the
City-of Little Rock, Arkansas, all the lands described hereinabove in

this Ordinance; and that said lands be and are hereby assigned and
attached to the FIFTH WARD of said City.
Section 2. It is further ordered that one copy of the order of
annexation of Pulaski County Court, dated June 27, 1963, together with
a certified copy of this ordinance shall be delivered to and filed
with the Secretary of State of the State of Arkansas.
