AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA OF RODNEY PARHAM ROAD AND WEST TWELFTH
STREET, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the zone classification of the following properties be and
are hereby changed as indicated:
Subsection (a) - Tract No. 1. Described as beginning at the intersection of the
north right -of -way line of Kanis Road and the west line of Section 12, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, thence run north along the west line of said Section 12,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West to a point on the north bank of Rock Creek, thence
run southeasterly along said Creek bank to its intersection with the north right -
of -way of Kanis Road; thence west along said north right -of -way to point of
beginning. - From: "A" -One- family District To: "I" -Light Industrial District
Subsection (b) - Tract No. 2 - Described as that portion of the west 900'
of the SVk;.SV-4 of Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, lying north and
east of Rodney Parham Road and south of the south right -of -way tine of the East-
Vest Expressway. From: "A"- One - family District To: "F "- Commercial District
Subsection (c) - Tract No. 3 - Described as a tract of land lying in the
S1,4, SV-4 of Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West described as beginning
at the point of intersection of the south right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road
and the west line of the said Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, run
thence southeasterly along the south right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road
to a point which is the northernmost point of Lot 1 of Wil -ton Subdivision; thence
run southwesterly along the northwestly line of Lot i, Wil -ton Subdivision to
the southwest corner of same, thence run southeasterly along the rear lot lines
of Lots 1 through 10, inclusive of Wit -ton Subdivision to the north right -of -way
line of Rushing Circle, thence run west along said north right- of-way line to
the west line of Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, thence run north
along said west line of Section 1, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, to the point

Subsection (d) - Tract No. 4 - described as beginning at the intersection
of the south right -of -way line of West 5th Street and the west right-of-way
line of Rodney Parham Road, thence run west 380 feet to a point, thence run
south 330 feet to a point, thence run east 110 feet to a point, thence run north
20 feet to a point, thence run easterly along a line 273.2 feet to a point on the
west right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road 357 feet south of point of beginning,

Subsection (e) - Tract No. 5 - Described as all of Tract "D" - Briarwood Sub-
division - From: "A" -One- family District To: "D"- Apartment District
Subsection (f) - Tract No. 6 - Described as all of Tract C -1 Briarwood Sub-
division, and all of Lots 441, 442, 443, 444, 445, 446 of Briarwood Subdivision,
except a tract of land more particularly described as follows: Starting at a point
on the East right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road 40 feet east and 180 feet south
of the northwest corner NE'41 SC14 Section 2, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, thence
run south 2 degrees 08 minutes east 182.0 feet, thence continue south along a curve
having a radius of 359.5 feet and a chord bearing and distance of south 23 degrees 27
minutes east 239.8 feet to a point, said point being on the northeasterly right -of-
way line of Rodney Parham Road; thence run south 44 degrees 47 minutes east 565.6
feet along aforesaid Rodney Parham right -of -way line to the point of beginning,
thence north 41 degrees 30 minutes east 266 feet to a point on the south right -of -way
of Ouachita Drive, thence run south easterly along said right -of -way 49.4 feet to a
point, thence run south 67 degrees 09 minutes east 240.5 feet to a point, thence run
south 22 degrees 51 minutes west 278.25 feet to a point on north right- of-way of
Rodney Parham Road, thence run westerly along said north right -ofway of Rodney
Parham Road 388.3 feet to the point of beginning. From: "A"- One - family District

Subsection (q) - Tract No. 7 - Described as a tract of land more particularly
DESCRIbed as follows: Starting at a point on the east right -of -way line of Rodney
Parham Road 40 feet east and 180 feet south of the northwest corner NE 4, SV4
Section 2, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, thence run south 2 degrees 08 minutes
east 182.0 feet, thence continue south along a curve having a radius of 359.5 feet
and a chord bearing and distance of south 23 degrees 27 minutes east 239.8 feet
to a point, said point being on the northeasterly right -of -way line of Rodney
Parham Road, thence run south 44 degrees 47 minutes east 565.6 feet along afore-
said Rodney Parham Road right -of -way line to the point of beginning, thence north
41 degrees 30 minutes east 266 feet to a point on the south right -of -way of
Ouachita Drive, thence run southeasterly along said right -of -way 49.4 feet to
a point, thence run south 67 degrees 09 minutes east 240.5 feet to a point, thence
run south 22 degrees 51 minutes west 278.25 feet to a point on north right -of -way
of Rodney Parham Road, thence run westerly along said north right -of -way of Rodney
Parham Road 388.3 feet to the point of beginning. From: "All- One - family District To:

Subsection (h1 - Tract No. 8 - Described as a tract of land described as
part of the NE4 NE'4 Section 11, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Starting at the northwest
corner of the NE'-4 NE4, Section 11; thence south 0 degrees 59 minutes east along
the west line of the NE 4 NE 4, Section 11, for 526.16 feet to a point on the norther-
ly right -of -way line of Kanis Road; thence north 80 degrees 47 minutes east along
the northerly right -of -way line of Kanis Road 444.2 feet; thence continue along the
northerly right- o €;.wayline of Kanis Road, North 77 degrees 46 minutes east for 80.5
feet; thence south 12 degrees 14 minutes east for 30.0 feet to a point on the
center -line of Kanis Road, said point being the point of beginning of the herein
described tract; thence south 0 degrees 58 minutes east 845.4 feet to a point
on the south line of the NO -4 NE'4 Section 11; thence North 89 degrees 14 minutes
east along the south line of the N54 NO-4, Section 11, for 783.9 feet to the south-
east corner of the NO-4 NE'4 Section 11; thence north 0 degrees 58 minutes west along
the east line of the NE'-4,NE'4 Section 11, for 577.9 feet; thence north 71 degrees
02 minutes west along a fence tine for 456.6 feet; thence north 2 degrees 12
minutes west along a fence line and a fence line produced for 230.3 feet to
the center -line of Kanis Road; thence in a westerly direction along the center -line
of Kanis Road for 360 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, except the

Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Little Rock and designated "District Map" be, and it is
hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3• That this ordinance shalt take effect and be in full force from
and after its passage and approval.
