AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF LAND FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES WITHIN THE
EAST -WEST EXPRESSWAY; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AMENDING
ORDINANCE 11,372 (as amended) BY APPROPRIATING ADDI-
TIONAL SUMS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 11,372, enacted on April 1, 1963,
the acquisition of several parcels of land identified by number,
the full legal description of which and the approved appraisal
thereof were and remain on file in the office of the Real Estate
Department of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which parcels
include parcel No. 121; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 11,416, enacted on August 5, 1963,
certain changes were acknowledged in the appraisals of some of
said parcels; and
WHEREAS, due to lapse of time and other factors acknowledged
by the Board of Directors to be pertinent and applicable, it is
found necessary to increase the appraisal of parcel No. 121;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The appraisal and approved purchase price of
parcel No. 121, as referred to in Ordinance 11,372 and 11,416
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby increased to
the sum of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 Dollars
($10,750,00). The City Manager is hereby authorized to acquire
said parcel for the appraised value as reflected herein and to
pay by warrant of the City of Little Rock the said price for
parcel No. 121 to the person or persons entitled thereto accord-
ing to the opinion of the City Attorney so as to vest full legal
title to the said parcel in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 11,372, as amended
by Ordinance No. 11,416, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of Three
Hundred One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy -Five and No /100
Dollars ($301,875.00) from the City of Little Rock Street
Right -of -Way Fund, Project 1 - Expressway, for the purposes
set forth in the above section hereof."
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
