AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF
IiMPROVEM'ENTS WITHIN PUBLIC RIGHT -OF =WAY
SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS TO THE
CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT OI)AINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Christ Episcopal Church is hereby granted a
right, privilege and franchise to improve certain public
right -of -way by installing thereon 'cricks laid without mortar
to provide a walkway and access between the existing curb and
sidewalk adjacent to the Christ Episcopal Church at the inter-
section of Fifth and Scott Streets. The area within which
bricks may be laid is described as:
Beginning at the curb line of the Southeast
(SE) corner of the intersection of Scott and
Fifth Streets in the City of Little Rock; thence
East one hundred forty -one (141) feet to the
curb line of an alley; thence South ten (10)
feet to the existing sidewalk; thence West one
hundred forty -one (141) feet to the East curb
line of Scott Street; thence North ten (10)
feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The right, privilege and franchise granted in
Section 1 hereof is granted upon the express condition that the
Christ Episcopal Church, its successors and assigns, will, upon
demand by the City, remove the aforesaid improvements from the
described property at any time the said property or any portion
thereof shall be needed for public purposes and, wholly at its
own expense, will restore the said property to its condition prior
to the installation of said bricks.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
