AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGNING
SAME TO WARDS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the
County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner
of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said
lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of September, 1964,
the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that
the petition was signed by Pleasant Valley, Inc., as the
owner of all of said lands; that said lands are contiguous
and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of
said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
petition; that proper notice had been given for the time
and in the manner prescribed by law, and that all things
pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed
by law, and that said lands should be annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to
the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said
City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing
from said order of annexation made by the County Court
has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. That the following described lands
contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be and the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed
to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the
East Half (E�) of Section 28, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas;
Thence South 890 46' 43" East along the
south line of said Section 28 for a distance
of 420.00 feet;
Thence South l0 05' 15" West for a distance
of 69.37 feet to the Point of Beginning, said
point also being in the South right -of -way
line of Rodney Parham Road;
Thence South 740 15' 20" East along the South
right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road for a
distance of 953.26 feet to the point of curva-
ture of a curve to the left, said curve having
a radius of 994.93 feet, a tangent of 130.69
feet and an internal angle of 140 58';
Thence easterly along said curve to the left
for a distance of 259.89 feet to the point of
tangency thereof;
Thence South 890 11' 50" East along the South
right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road for a
distance of 424.87 feet to the point of curva-
ture of a curve to the right, said curve having
a radius of 676.20 feet, a tangent of 42.58
feet and an internal angle of 70 12' 21 ";
Thence along said curve to the right for
a distance of 85.04 feet to a point in the
South right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road;
Thence South 00 10' 24" East for a distance
of 997.81 feet to a point;
Thence South 890 51' 19" West for a distance
of 1021.35 feet to a point;
Thence South 20 24' 47" West for a distance
of 18.53 feet to a point;
Thence North 870 53' 20" West for a distance
of 974.08 feet to a point;

Thence North 30 11' 44" West for a distance
of 20.27 feet to a point;
Thence South 890 49' 44" West for a distance
of 369.22 feet to a point;
Thence North 00 17' 00" East for a distance
of 637.11 feet to a point;
Thence South 890 02' 50" East for a distance
of 371.88 feet to a point;
Thence North l0 00' 00" East for a distance
of 361.10 feet to a point;
Thence South 890 14' 25" East for a distance
of 418.89 feet to a point;
Thence North l0 05' 15" East for a distance
of 250.48 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 54.51 acres, more or less, all in
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 2. That the above - described lands
shall be annexed to and made a part of Ward No. 5 of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the same shall hence-
forth be a part of said Ward as fully as existing parts
of said Ward.
