ORDINANCE NO. 119540
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the zone classification of the following properties be and
are hereby changed as indicated.
Subsection (a) Z -1722 ,- Described as all of Lots 10, 11, and 12, and that
part of Lots 1, 2, and 3, lying south of La Harpe Boulevard, and abutting alleys
now closed in Block 256, Original City of Little Rock, and all of Lots 7, 8, and 9,
Block 277, Original City of Little Rock, and the south 50 feet of Lots 5 and 6,
Block 277, Criginal City of Little Rock - From: "G -111- Commercial District
To: "H"- Business District.
Subsection (b) - Z -1717 - Described as Lot 1 and all of Lots 2, 3, 11, and
12, Block 21, Capitol Hill Extension, lying west of Missouri Pacific Railroad
right -of -way. From: "B11- Residence District To: "J" -Light Industrial District
Subsection (c) - Z -1729 - described as Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Cox Subdivision
of Taylor and Bodeman Addition - From: 'All -One- family District To: "F11-
Commercial District.
Subsection (d) - Z -1724 - described as Lots 3 and 4, Block 6, Cox Subdivi-
sion of Taylor and Bodeman Addition - From: "P"- One - family District To: "F"-
Commercial District.
Subsection (e) - Z -1721 - described as Lot 7 of the Subdivision of S2 NE 4
NE-4, Section 25, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, in
accordance with the plat by Henry Conway, County Surveyor dated August 19, 1925,
filed for record October 16, 1925 in Plat Book 3, Page 27, Circuit Clerk and
Recorder's Office, and of a 20.0 foot easement more particularly described as
follows: Part of Lot 6 in Subdivision of S% NE-4 NE'4, Section 25, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
Northeast corner of said Lot 6, run thence south 20.0 feet, thence west to the
east right -of -way line of the New Little Rock - Benton Highway, thence northerly
along the east right -of -way line of said Highway 20.0 feet, more or less, to the
north line of said Lot 6; thence East along the north line of said Lot 6 to the
point of beginning. From: "All- One - family District To: "HI'- Business District.

Subsection (f) - Z -628 - described as part of the SE'-4 SE4 Section 35, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, beginning at the southeast corner of the said SE14 of the SE'4
at the intersection of Base Line Road and Chicot Road, thence run west along the
base line for 210.5 feet to the point of beginning of this description; thence
continuing west along the base line for 185.5 feet; thence north 110 feet; thence
east 185.5 feet; thence south 110 feet to point of beginning - From: "A" -One- family
District To: "F" - Commercial District.
Subsection (g) - Z -1489 - described as Lots 10 and 11, Block 2, Fleming and
Bradford Addition - From: "C"- Two - family District To: "E -1 -A" Nursing, Lodging
and Undertaking District.
Subsection (h) - Z -1730 - described as the South 40 feet of Lot 1 and all of
Lots 2 and 3 of Block 2, Fletcher and Wright's Addition - From: "C"- two - family
District To: "F "- Commercial District
Subsection (i) - Z -1702 - described as Lot 7, Block 5, Riffel and Rhoton's
Forest Park Highland Addition - From: "f'," -One- family District To: "C" -Two-
family District-
Section 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Little Rock and designated "District Map "be, and it is hereby
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its passage and approval.
