ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,750.00 FOR RIGHT -OF-
WAY FOR WEST THIRD STREET RELOCATION, SAME BEING
1965 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 57; AMENDING
SUB- SECTION C SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 11,750;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SEjCTION 1. Sub - section C, Section 2, Ordinance 11,750
which heretofore read as follows:

Is hereby amended to read as follows:
Parcel Number .Approved Purchase Price
C 65- S -57 -8 $22,000.00
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the 1965
Capital Improvement Bond Funds to Project 57, the sum of $2,750.00
for providing additional funds with which to acquire the Parcel of
property described in Section 1 hereof and this appropriation is
and shall be deemed supplemental to the appropriations made in
Ordinance Number 11,750 for the purpose of acquiring right -of -way.
SECTION 3. It is hereby found by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock that traffic conditions in the Double S
Curve from West Third Street to West Markham Street in the City of
Little Rock are dangerous to the liv es,and property of its citizens,
that the streets connecting West Third and West Markham Streets
should be straightened and that this Ordinance is necessary to pro-
vide for the immediate acquisition of right -of -way for such pur-
poses; that the price established for the Parcels to be acquired is
advantageous to the City of Little Rock and acquisition of said
Parcels should be made immediately. Now therefore, an emergency is
declared to exist and this•Ordinance being necessary for the pre -
servance of public peace, health, and safety, shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
